Dakota Johnson’s horseshoe necklace in the movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” was purchased exclusively for the film at Show Pony Boutique, and designed by Veronica & Harold. The jewelry designer behind the brand, Lisa Richardt, named it after her parents and has been friends with Show Pony owner, Stephanie Hara, for over 20 years. Hara was thrilled to see the necklace appear onscreen, and recounts that a costume designer came into the Los Angeles store location 12 months ago and purchased it for use in an upcoming feature film. The film itself is based in Seattle, where Show Pony first opened and still maintains its flagship store. The delicate necklace is made from 14K gold-fill, is 100% hand-made by the designer, and can be purchased either online or at both store locations – Show Pony’s 3rd Street boutique and Show Pony Seattle.
